Dr George Olstein’s dental surgery is located in Prahran, Melbourne, Victoria.

Dr George Olstein profileDr Olstein graduated from the Melbourne University, Victoria in 1976 (with honours). He spent one year in private practice before leaving for overseas with his recently married wife Anita, for 2 years to gain further valuable experience. On his return he joined his brother in private practice in Glenhuntly where they practiced until the year 2000. Due to their ever growing business they relocated to their current beautifully appointed location in the Melbourne suburb of Prahran, Victoria.

Dr Olstein is a current member of the Australian Dental Association and a former member of Australian Endodontic Society and the Academy of General Dentists. He is also a graduate of the Progressive Orthodontic Society and the LVI Institute which are both based in the USA.

What stands Dr Olstein apart from his peers is his gentle and caring approach, in a relaxed and comfortable environment while delivering the best that dentistry has to offer.

Dr Olstein practices most facets of dentistry but has a special interest in sleep dentistry and cosmetic dentistry (please refer to our Portfolio to see what can be achieved).

Dr Olstein has three children, Bianca (Paramedic) married to Andrew, Justin (Film and Television director) soon to be married to Ben and Rani (Primary school teacher) married to David. He currently has two gorgeous grandchildren Isaiah and Ayla.

Pauline and Kris both graduated from the Dental Hygiene school in Adelaide (1999 and 2012).

We have a wonderful team of support staff including Louise, Rosie, Libby, Claire, Steph, Clare, Brenda, Annabelle and Brooke some of whom have been with us for more than 30 years. They all understand and implement Dr Olstein’s philosophy of treating every patient as a very special person and on an individual basis.
